BOARD CANDIDACY NOTICE
Knob Noster Public Schools invites qualified individuals interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 6, 2021 election. There are two positions available, with three-year terms each. Interested individuals may file at the Knob Noster Public Schools District Office located at 401 E. Wimer Street, Knob Noster, MO.
Filing will begin on December 15, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. Filing will end on January 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. During this period, candidates may file by setting an appointment between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021. Candidates may obtain the official candidate filing packet of forms and instructions in advance from the district office upon request. Filing will occur on the first and last day of filing, and on all other days in which school is in session. Filing will not occur from 12:00 p.m. on December 18, 2020 through January 1, 2021 (Christmas Break) or on January 18, 2021 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Filing will also not occur on days in which school is closed due to weather or a health related closure.
Candidates must wear a face covering and observe county health and district COVID-19 protocols in effect at the time of filing.
