Proposition K

Over the past eight years, Knob Noster Public Schools has experienced nearly 40% growth in student enrollment. In addition, the district anticipates another 15-20% growth in enrollment in association with the B-21 mission. To adequately respond to this growth trend, the district has procedurally developed communication strategic plans to construct a new Knob Noster High School Innovation Campus, which will move the district from four school sites to five school sites, effectively creating space to accommodate the student population. This project also allows for expansion of preschool services, enhancement of safety through the construction of a FEMA/SEMA approved storm shelter, and the addition of activities and athletics amenities to serve our families and students who are heavily-engaged in youth and adult sports and activities. Ultimately, the Knob Noster Board of Education believes this project will serve as a catalyst for residential, economic, and business growth for the Knob Noster community.

In September 2023, the Board of Education voted to place a levy initiative on the April 2, 2024 ballot to provide voters the opportunity to consider approving this project.
